Its ability to accelerate metabolism is huge and hence a key exercise if one of your goals is weight loss. So whether you are a top level athlete looking to improve your performance, someone who needs to improve core function, or you are just trying to lose some weight and tone up for the summer, kettlebell training may well be the solution for you. Although exercises will vary, typically my clients will have two one hour sessions a week. Once the exercise techniques have become familiar, this is normally achieved by the second or third session, each session will involve short circuits broken by active rest intervals. As your fitness and strength improve and your technical ability advances, routines and exercises will become progressively more challenging ensuring you never plateau.
