As an experienced kettlebell trainer I understand how this type of training can be easily adapted to benefit triathletes. I have developed several circuit based routines that are specific to either swimming, cycling or running.  Build core strength, improve cardio fitness, and increase lactate threshold capacity. I have found that including kettlebell sessions within brick sessions provides one of the most physically demanding training sessions possible. There are few better ways to prepare you for the physical and mental demands of competing. 

 

I came across Total Immersion after having spent over a year searching for ways to improve my swimming. I had several lessons with three different ASA coaches, attended two 'learn to swim better' workshops and worked hard in the gym. None of these efforts improved my swimming. Discovering Total Immersion Swimming was an enlightening experience indeed. The teaching approach and the way they explain swimming made complete sense and all the questions I ever had about swimming were answered.  I have been an accredited coach now for two years and have considerable experience working with triathletes in workshop environments and on a one to one basis. I'm qualified to teach any level of swimmer in any of the strokes.
